ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Matt Camilleri-Flynn from Northern Ontario is an author and survivor who writes with raw, unapologetic honesty, drawing deeply from years of mental health struggles, addiction, loss, and life-altering betrayals. His debut memoir, I Almost Didn’t Make It, is a raw account of the walls he built, his near-fatal “almosts,” and his ultimate decision to keep going. Matt provides a vulnerable, unfiltered look at what it takes to break down inner walls. Today, he works to help others facing similar challenges, firmly believing that life can look up—even after the darkest chapters.
